Some people are more adept at handling change than others. I've become better at it over the years, and while it may be attributable to various reasons, I suspect it has a lot to do with moving... a lot. My family has moved to multiple states on both coasts, with each move bringing the need for patience, making new friends, learning new areas, and new everything. It was stressful, but it also created fantastic resilience: a critical component of managing change.
Work and life will often have times of challenge and change. I approach it as an opportunity. It may not always work out as planned, but I can grow and thrive by using my strengths and adaptability. I've learned to love change!
